Scope of  the remodel:

  • New closet space for two bedrooms
  • Custom built-ins for the gameroom and study
  • Removal and replacement of attic insulation along with penetration sealing
  • New AC ducts along with the addition of R/A grills in the bedrooms

New Project In Progress

Project B:

We are remodeling two bathrooms, removing carpet and installing wood flooring, and repainting several areas. Both bathrooms currently have tubs but they will be converted to showers. There is new paneling for the dining room consisting of domestic maple and pine. Paint prepping the paneling is very important. The semi-gloss finish means at least 3 coats with prep between each coat. The shower bench is a solid mass with the shower pan reaching 6″ above. The window will be lined with solid marble and receive a custom frameless glass door for further water protection. The city of Houston now inspects for shower bench integrity. We are building a new desk space, closet space and lighted hanging and moveable display cabinet for the main closet.

Description

Avalon is a home we updated primarily in the kitchen and bath areas. New showers, cabinetry, lighting, and new tile along with new paint were installed in four secondary baths and the master bath. New paint and lighting throughout the rest of the house helped brighten things up. The island kitchen was modified, custom stainless steel was applied to the vent hood, and new tile backsplashes, sinks and countertops were installed.

Our most recent projects were 3 bathrooms that he completed simultaneously while we were on a summer trip. It is impressive that he was able to get things complete in just over 6 weeks. Joe is always communicative, he sent photos and text updates throughout the entire project. I was never worried. Joe has overseen the renovation of almost our entire house at this point and we are happy with the work. Joe can be counted on to complete any job to the highest standards.
